JavaScript KeyboardEvent code Property

The event.code property returns the key that triggered the event.

Warning: This property returns different values for physical keyboard, virtual keyboard, and accessibility device.

Advantage: This property is useful when you want to handle keys based on their physical positions on the input device rather than the characters associated with those keys.

Note: This property is read-only.
