The Contains() method checks whether the substring occurs within a given string or not.

Example

C# Compiler
using System; namespace myApp { class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { string s1 = "country"; string s2 = "try"; string s3 = "con"; Console.WriteLine(s1.Contains(s2)); Console.WriteLine(s1.Contains(s3)); } } }

Output

True False

Syntax

public bool s1.Contains(s2)
