C++ Program to find Minimum Value of an Array

Find Minimum Value of an Array

In the following example, we will find the minimum value of an array (arr).

Example

C++ Compiler
#include <iostream> using namespace std; int main() { int i, min; int arr[5] = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}; min = arr[0]; for(i=1; i<5; i++) { if(min > arr[i]) min = arr[i]; } cout << "Minimum value of Array: "<< min; return 0; }

In the following example, we will get any five integer values from the user and return the minimum value among those.

Example

C++ Compiler
#include <iostream> using namespace std; int main() { int i, min, arr[5]; cout << "Enter any 5 int numbers: \n"; for(i=0; i<5; i++) cin >> arr[i]; min = arr[0]; for(i=1; i<5; i++) { if(min > arr[i]) min = arr[i]; } cout << "Minimum value of Array: "<< min; return 0; }
