## LCM

A smallest common multiple of two or more integers.

In general, **Least Common Multiple** (LCM) is otherwise called as **Lowest Common Multiple** (LCM) or **Smallest Common Multiple** (SCM)

## How to Find LCM

### 3 and 6

In this example, we will find the least common multiple of 3 and 6

3 = 3, **6**, 9, 12, 15 ... N

6 = **6**, 12, 18, 24, ... N

Clearly, **6** is the least common multiples of 3 and 6.

### 5 and 7

In this example, we will find the least common multiple of 5 and 7

5 = 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, **35**, 40... N

7 = 7, 14, 21, 28, **35**, 42, 49, 56 ... N

Clearly, **35** is the least common multiples of 5 and 7.
