jQuery inArray() Method
The jQuery inArray()
method searches for a specified value within an array and return its index.
Note: This method returns -1 if the specified element not found.

Parameter Values
Value | Type | Explanation |
---|---|---|
value | Required | Specifies a value to search for. |
array | Required | Specifies an array through which to search. |
fromIndex | Optional | Specifies the index of the array at which to begin the search. Default value of fromIndex is 0. |
