The onerror event occurs when a resource failed to load, or can't be used.

For example: This event occurs when a requested image is not found.

onerror Event as Attribute

Syntax

As Attribute

<element onerror = "JavaScript">

As Property

object.onerror = function(){ // code };

Using Event Listener

object.addEventListener("error" , myScript);

Using addEventListener() Method

Note: The addEventListener() method is not supported in Internet Explorer 8 and below.
