CSS @media pointer can be used to test whether the user has a pointing device (such as a mouse), and if so, how accurate the primary pointing device is.

Using CSS

Media Query Value

The following table provides the list of media query value for pointer.

ValueExplanation
noneSpecifies that the primary input mechanism does not include a pointing device.
coarseSpecifies that the primary input mechanism includes a pointing device of limited accuracy.
fineSpecifies that the primary input mechanism includes an accurate pointing device.

Using JavaScript
